My name is Nuno Pereira. I’m the clinical director of Clínica Dentária D’Avenida. I knew from an early age that I was going to be a dentist, being the son of the clinic’s founder, António Pereira. I graduated from ISCS-N in 2001, but when I joined the course in 1995 I already envisaged my total dedication to oral surgery, namely Implantology.

Consequently, in 2001 I started my post-graduate training in Dental Implantology at the Implant Dentistry Department of New York University. Those were 2 wonderful years. When I returned to Portugal in 2003 I did a postgraduate course in aesthetic dentistry at the CEOSA group, in Madrid.

Since then, apart from working exclusively in Implantology and directing the clinic, I have been teaching training courses in this field in Portugal and abroad. I am a member of the European academy of osseointegration, a fellow of the ICOI and other organisations dedicated to oral and implant surgery. I continue to attend training courses and congresses every year in order to stay at the forefront of worldwide dentistry. I love travelling with my family. When I’m not thinking about teeth, I devote myself body and soul to my golf game.
